OVERVIEW

JDP was awarded the HVAC contract to provide upgraded chillers, boilers, pumps and associated piping for Four Times Square. The work was performed in the 49th and 4th floor mechanical equipment rooms.

Six chillers were removed from the 49th floor MER and were replaced with four 1,000-ton Multistack chillers, which were crane-lifted on site.

In addition to the chillers, JDP Mechanical installed 15 new gas-fired boilers with primary and secondary condenser water, chilled water, and hot water pumps. New mains were also installed.

Insulation, sheet metal and commissioning were all included in our scope of work.
